Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle
In just her first term in the New Jersey General Assembly, Valerie is already making a mark in Trenton, where she serves on both the Appropriations and Human Services committees. She's worked to carefully prioritize state spending in a time of great fiscal challenge. Valerie is particularly proud to have created the Department of Children and Families to reform DYFS – New Jersey's beleaguered child welfare agency.

Charlotte Bennett Schoen - Englewood
Whether it's requiring City department heads to attend Council meetings answer public questions or opening the Council executive sessions to the public, Charlotte is opening the smoke filled backroom to put government to work for us. To save taxpayers millions of dollars, she ended the “Lifetime Free Health Benefits” ordinance and appointed a Budget Review Committee to hold the line on government spending. She will continue to fight for open and honest government.
Timothy Driscoll - Bergenfield
A WWII veteran, Tim won’t back down to the political bosses. He will fight to clean up corruption and restore integrity and accountability in Town Hall. He will work hard for his neighbors in Bergenfield – whether the issue is property taxes or mismanagement – and restore honor to Bergenfield.
Bruce Carlson - Bergenfield
With an eye on getting rid of corruption and keeping taxes under control, Councilman Bruce Carlson has stood up to the majority who allowed patronage and mismanagement to run Bergenfield. Finishing his first term on the Council, Bruce has served as Chairman of the Finance Committee to keep Bergenfield’s budget under control.
Barry Doll - Bergenfield
An active voice against climbing property tax levies, Barry wants to put his years of experience as an accountant to work in Bergenfield. He will clean up the budget and get rid of political favoritism and mismanagement at Town Hall. He will work to put Bergenfield first and bring accountability back to Town Hall.
Michael Lattif - Tenafly
For the past five years as a councilman, Michael has worked hard to make this wonderful town even better through open space initiatives, fiscal accountability measures and governmental performance standards. As Mayor, Michael will promote “Tenafly Pride” and provide the leadership, experience and vision this town needs going forward.
Joseph McDermott - Tenafly
Chairman of both the Tenafly Environmental Commission and the Tenafly Light Rail Committee, President of the Board of Trustees of the Van Ost Institute, and Pack Leader of Cub Scout Troup 86, Joe has dedicated himself to serving his community. He will work to protecting and improve Tenafly’s quality of life while dealing with the increasing challenges of population growth and the resultant pressure on natural resources and municipal services.
